Powder Coating

Powder coating relies on the deposition of a dry powder spray, electro-statically attracted to a charged metal surface. The metal is then placed in an oven and baked for 15 minutes, where the powder particles break down and bond to each other, resulting in a continuous, even, and highly durable finish.

The standard finishing offered by Alliance Metal Works is powder coating.

Our Coating line can handle part sizes as large as 1500 mm X 3000 mm [59" x 118"] with a maximum part weight of 200Kgs [440lb]. After cleaning, parts enter a forced air dry-off oven, pass through an environmental room where the powder is applied, and finally are raised to an overhead convection cure oven. These systems were designed to coat both medium and high volume parts efficiently using both manual and automatic equipment.
